NoDescription of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):
(1) The candidate will receive training in Structure from Motion (SfM) processing and in the use of Agisoft and CloudCompare software
(2) The candidate will process 3D models to completion
(3) The candidate will carry out the annotation of 3D models for marine benthic species, including commercially important shellfish and deep-sea sessile organisms
(4) The candidate will provide support for fieldwork activities involving snorkelling and/or drone operations
(1) O candidato receberá formação em processamento de Structure from Motion (SfM) e na utilização dos softwares Agisoft e CloudCompare
(2) O candidato irá processar modelos 3D até à sua conclusão
(3) O candidato realizará a anotação de modelos 3D para espécies bentónicas marinhas, incluindo moluscos de interesse comercial e organismos sésseis de águas profundas
(4) O candidato prestará apoio a atividades de trabalho de campo envolvendo snorkel e/ou operações com drone
Profile of the Trainee
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Marine biology, Marine Science or geography
Licenciatura em Biologia Marinha, Ciências do Mar ou Geografia

Good motivation to work team environment; capacity to work independently; willingness to learn and develop technical skills
