We are a dynamic SME based in the city centre of Barcelona, at the forefront of innovation and committed to delivering groundbreaking solutions in three key areas: Movement of people and goods, safe and secure Infrastructures, sustainable products and processes. Our expertise lies in spearheading cutting-edge technological projects at the international level.
Tasks:
The ideal candidate will join a challenging and very dynamic team within the Strategy and Innovation/Business Development department. The candidate will carry out a wide range of tasks:
1.data analytics to better understand the current market, the trends within the EU and worldwide (Horizon Europe, CEF, UIA, INTERREG, ENI and other ERDF related programmes) on the fields of transportation, process and product development and infrastructure safety and secureness.
2.Detection of funding opportunities for the development of international cooperative projects and internal products to launch into the market (including EU and local funding)
3.support on the identification of the right partners for each cooperative project or product the company wants to further develop
4.support on proposal writing
5.support on the definition of a project’s budget, tasks to undertake, etc.
6.public speaking skills
7.Participation to workshops, info days, conferences, brokerage, and networking events
8.Support on the management and maintenance of existing clients (Large organizations, Public Authorities, Industrial Association, etc.) and expansion of the commercial portfolio.
The candidate may also occasionally be involved in project management activities, as well as support to other departments of the organisation focused on Commercialization, Communication or Innovation. (v.2026)
Profile of the Trainee
Qualifications
• Background: Business or Engineering.
• Master’s degree in project management, European integration, International Business, Innovation or related disciplines is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of European funding schemes: Horizon Europe, INTERREG, MED, ENI, etc. is an asset.
Personal and Social Skills
• Ability to work in an international environment.
• Ability to establish connections with International stakeholders.
• Motivation, enthusiasm and result oriented.
Language Skills
• High level of English both spoken and written is a must.
• Catalan and/or Spanish intermediate level.
• Other European languages are desirable.
Information Technology (IT) Skills
• Ms Office / Office 365 Advanced user.
Other Skills
