NoDescription of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):
Greet guests courteously and provide information about the Hotel, which includes schedules and different areas/sectors (Pool, Restaurant / Bar);
Perform check-ins and check-outs, and manage room assignments;
Process new reservations, modifications, and cancellations through hotel management systems;
Validate credit card data, process daily payments, issue invoices, and close the shift's cash register with supervision of the colleagues;
Provide information about the hotel, services, tourist areas, and restaurants, as well as organize transportation.
Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready and guarantee that eventual changes in the reservation are being accounted for (i.e Room Type);
Control building access, including park, and guarantee the confidentiality of guest data.
Profile of the Trainee
Qualifications
Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Communications or International Relations;
Personal and Social Skills
Professional appearance and attitude;
Good sense of responsibility;
Communicative and empathetic towards colleagues and guests;
Organized, with good time management skills;
Resilient and capable of concluding tasks within a sort window of time;
Proactive and punctual, with a good capacity to adapt to new processes.
Language Skills
Able to understand and communicate in English and also able to understand and communicate in Portuguese.
Information Technology (IT) Skills
Good understanding and use of Microsoft Office and other applications;
Knowledge of hospitality management tools and applications used for guest profile creation and management (New Hotel, Host).
