Description of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):

Project Overview

This internship project is developed within Bela Cerveja Lda, an independent craft brewery based in the Azores, and Bela Bar, a craft beer bar and cultural venue.
As the brewery is currently in the opening phase, the intern will have the opportunity to accompany and participate in the first months of operation of the brewery, gaining unique hands-on experience during a key stage of the project’s development.

The main objective of the internship is to provide a transversal and practical understanding of the craft beer sector, covering production, bar service and commercial activities, while understanding the full life cycle of craft beer from brewing to the final consumer.

Profile of the Trainee

Qualifications

Interest in craft beer and beverage production.

Willingness to learn both brewery operations and bar service

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a team and adapt to different tasks

Responsibility, initiative, and motivation to learn

Basic organizational skills and attention to detail

Previous experience in a brewery or bar is a plus, but not required
