The trainee will join the Freshwater ecology group, working on the regional project for monitoring streams and lakes in the Azores Archipelago, a regional project whose main objectives are to assess the quality of surface waters of the Hydrographic Region - Azores. The trainee will participate in the fieldwork (close contact with nature – streams, and lakes) and laboratory work to collect, treat, and identify samples. The statistical analysis of the results obtained will be part of the work to be developed by the trainee.
This work will have a component of laboratory work (50%), data insertion and treatment (20%), and fieldwork (30%).
O estagiário juntar-se-á ao grupo de ecologia de Águas Interiores (FRESCO), trabalhando no projecto regional de monitorização de rios e lagos no Arquipélago dos Açores, um projecto regional cujos principais objectivos são a avaliação da qualidade das águas de superfície da Região Hidrográfica - Açores. O estagiário participará no trabalho de campo (contacto estreito com a natureza - ribeiras e lagos), no trabalho de laboratório para recolher, tratar e identificar amostras. A análise estatística dos resultados obtidos fará parte do trabalho a ser desenvolvido pelo estagiário.
Este trabalho terá uma componente de trabalho de laboratório (50%), inserção e tratamento de dados (20%), e trabalho de campo (30%).
