The intern will take part in tasks specific to each intervention and site, which may vary depending on the context and requirements. Examples of tasks performed independently: Prepare lime mortar in a cement mixer Organize and wrap up the day: load and unload tools and materials, clean and tidy up Supply the team with materials and equipment Participation in site interventions with the team: Apply lime plaster or repoint stone walls Build lightweight wooden structures for insulation Create insulated panels and slabs with fibered lime mortar Lay tiles on fresh screed Work on openings, floors, and roofs
Profile of the Trainee
Qualifications
The following technical knowledge is not essential but is considered an asset: Theoretical knowledge of the use of lime, clay, plaster, and wood in construction. Theoretical knowledge (architecture, history, or other) of traditional construction, historic buildings, and built heritage. Experience in construction, eco-construction, or heritage restoration.
Personal and Social Skills
Work on the construction site is physically demanding, so it is important to be in good physical condition. We also highly value autonomy in task execution, initiative, mindful communication (we are a cooperative), rigor and dedication in work, as well as consistent effort.
