Description of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):

Data Extraction & Querying: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from internal databases to support business decision-making.

Reporting & Visualization: Build, maintain, and automate dashboards using Google Sheets, ensuring data accuracy and clarity for cross-departmental stakeholders.

Statistical Analysis: Apply mathematical and statistical models to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales and operational data.

Operational Support: Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to translate business questions into technical data requirements.

Data Cleaning: Perform regular audits of data records to ensure the integrity and validity of information across all platforms.

Continuous Improvement: Propose new ways to optimize data collection and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

It is desirable to have or be pursuing studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Language Skills

English (Fluent).

Spanish would be an important plus.

Information Technology (IT) Skills

Google Spreadsheets Intermediate: Knowledge of pivot tables, able to craft complex formulas (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA), and data visualization.

SQL (Intermediate-Junior): Solid understanding of relational databases. You should be comfortable writing queries to extract data (SELECT, FROM, WHERE), import/export datasets, and clean/filter information to make it usable. Knowledge of JOINs to cross-reference data from different tables is essential.

Google Environment: (Google Sheets, Drive, Calendar).

Database Management: Experience with SQL workbenches or cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, etc.) is highly valued.

Other Skills
