Host organisations – Companies, associations, administrations

The term “host organisation” refers to the organisations where Eurodyssey trainees undertake their traineeship, whether they are companies, associations, NGOs, public administrations… Eurodyssey is open to organisations of all sizes and in all fields of activity, as long as they are legally registered in one of the participating regions, and provide the necessary guarantees for the trainees to benefit from a quality and tutored traineeship.

Eurodyssey provides organisations willing to hire trainees with a sponsored traineeship programme, supported and financed by the AER and the participating regions. It allows organisations to build on young people’s knowledge and skills, to support them in applying and developing them in a professional environment, and to be supported by the regions when it comes to the trainees’ remuneration. Generally, the regions finance the entire remuneration of the trainees (whether it is a “scholarship”, a “grant”, a “compensation”, a “stipend”, a “salary”), and the companies may be required to contribute through meal vouchers and public transportation reimbursement.

  • Make sure that the trainee can apply and develop their skills and knowledge in your organisation.
  • Tutor, follow up with and evaluate the trainees, and provide them with a supervisor in the company.
  • Support their integration in the organisation and in the region.
