Eurodyssey is open to the member regions of the Assembly of European Regions (AER).
If your region is not a member of the AER, joining Eurodyssey is possible for a maximum period of two years, after which AER membership is required.
If your region wishes to join Eurodyssey, please contact Jeanne Demonque ([email protected]), the Programmes Coordinator at the AER Secretariat. She will provide you with the necessary documents to formalise your intention to join the programme, including a letter of intent and a questionnaire.
Once your questionnaire is reviewed and approved by the Steering Committee, your region will officially be welcome in the Eurodyssey programme!
Your membership will be formalised through a signed letter of commitment between the Region and the AER. The region states its commitment to comply with the prerequisites required for participating in the programme, namely sufficient human and financial resources. This includes an adequate budget, technical and logistical capacities, partnerships to provide accommodation, partnerships with companies to offer traineeships, a promotion and communication plan, a scheme to organise the language course, social and cultural activities.
Once your region joins Eurodyssey, you are provided with adequate mentorship and training, by the AER Secretariat and an experienced Eurodyssey region. This includes practical website training (as all applications are processed through the website), but also exchange of best practices when it comes to implementing the practical aspects of hosting and sending trainees.
