What?
The Eurodyssey Forum is the programme’s flagship annual event. This two or three-day event consists of plenary sessions, workshops, social and cultural activities, and informal networking moments, gathering the Eurodyssey community and beyond.
When?
Generally organised in the Autumn, it takes place every year.
Where?
The Forum is always hosted in and co-organised by one of the Eurodyssey participating regions, unless exceptional circumstances (such as the COVID-19 pandemic) oblige to organise it online.
Who?
The Forum is co-organised by the host region and the AER Secretariat, under the supervision of the Eurodyssey Steering Committee. The event gathers the Eurodyssey correspondents and coordinators from the participating regions, but also Eurodyssey trainees, alumni and hosting organisations in the host region. The event is also open to regional representatives interested in joining Eurodyssey, to local and regional partners, stakeholders, elected representatives, etc.
Why?
The Forum is the occasion to reflect on the programme’s achievements and results over the past year, to present its Activity & Statistics Report, to plan the next step, to collect the Eurodyssey correspondent’s ideas, recommendations, feedback, to develop new strategies… In a spirit of co-creation, the Forum creates a momentum for capacity-building, to showcase the programme in the host region and towards other regions (Eurodyssey members or not), to develop new ideas, to adapt to new realities, and to further develop this unique regionally-led youth mobility programme.
