Description of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):

• Follow, analyze and report on EU initiatives with an impact on the financial sector. • Preparing and editing agendas for the Head of the EU Corporate Affairs department. • Monitor main European Think Tanks and key EU stakeholders. • The intern will be continuously in touch with the Public Policy Team in Santander\\\'s HQ in Madrid.

Profile of the Trainee

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a relevant University degree. • Knowledge of European politics and the European decision-making processes, but (more important) willingness to learn more about it.

Personal and Social Skills

• Reliable, good team player. • Good communication skills. • Willingness to learn. • Passionate about the EU legislative process.

Language Skills

• Fluency in English is essential. • Knowledge of additional EU languages will be an asset.

Information Technology (IT) Skills

• Microsoft Office
