Description of the tasks to be undertaken by the trainee(s):

The European Environmental Bureau is Europe\\\'s largest network of environmental citizens’ organisations, standing for environmental justice, sustainable development and participatory democracy. We are one of the leading environmental NGOs working in Brussels to influence EU policies. The Finance and Administration team is looking for a self-motivated person with a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing policies to help developing the EEB\\\'s legal framework for well-being at work. In your time here you might be asked to offer support to the Human Resources Team in day to day operations: • Compiling and updating employee records • Archiving documents (paper and online archives) • Dealing with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations • Assisting in payroll preparation • Assisting in the recruitment process • Keeping the internship database up to date • Communicating with public services, external benefit vendors and payroll office

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications/Vocational Training Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Management, Law or Administration

Personal and Social Skills

Excellent organisational and communication skills. Sociable, flexible, proactive

Language Skills

Good written and spoken English and French

Information Technology (IT) Skills

Specific aptitude in MS Office is an additional asset
